Proverbs 15:19

The way of the slothful [man is] as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous [is] made plain.

A sluggard’s pathway through life is beset with many difficulties, dangers, and painful experiences. But the pathway of the upright is unhindered and unencumbered by these obstacles.

If God commands, I have simply to obey. He makes Himself responsible to clear the obstacles from my path, or to give me the ability to overcome them.” Mephibosheth seems to have been sluggish, at least in communicating with David, and his life became complicated as a result.

Peter, after Pentecost, followed the Lord faithfully, and God even opened

prison doors to allow him to continue to minister.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 4:18
