Daniel 10:7

Now I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, while the men who were with me did not see the vision; nevertheless, a great dread fell on them, and they ran away to hide themselves.

It occurred in the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, on the24th day of the first month. Daniel had been in mourning (fasting) for three weeks. He was beside the Tigris river. Daniel saw a certain man, clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz. With a body like beryl, his face like lightning, his eyes like torches of fire. His arms and feet like burnished bronze in color his words like the voice of a multitude. Only Daniel saw the vision, the men with him did not. They fled with great terror to hide themselves. Daniel’s companions, sensing that something awesome was happening, hid themselves while Daniel viewed what God showed him.
