THE POWER OF HUMILITY

March 14, 2015

2 Corinthians 10:1

(Paul)

I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ. I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!

LESSON

While others thought meanly, and spake scornfully of the apostle, he had low thoughts, and spake humbly of himself. We should be aware of our own infirmities, and think humbly of ourselves, even when men reproach us. The work of the ministry is a spiritual warfare with spiritual enemies, and for spiritual purposes.

Tools of the faith make our journey easier. As we live in the will of God as we think in accordance with His will, we stay in His will. Jesus Christ can straighten out our thinking a whole lot better than Dr. Phil or anybody else in this world.

Memory verse: Luke 1:43
