Psalms 103:15-16

As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.

God’s compassion is father-like in that He is mindful of our finite creaturely limitations.

He knows us even better than we know ourselves. Verses 15 and 16 beautifully describe the transitory nature of human life. It is both frail and short-lived. In contrast, God’s loyal love to those who fear Him abides strong forever. It transcends generations and continues on to the descendants of those who obey His law.

Many Americans have come to realize that physical exercise is good for one’s health; and, as a result, there has been a dramatic increase in exercising among its people! Likewise, exercise is good for one’s spiritual health! How much are you exercising today?
